I've just finished my first project inception with ThoughtWorks and have learnt a huge amount about building solid project foundations. It's been a long month and I'm glad we're done, but the hours of workshops have produced something that, in my experience, few projects ever seem to manage: a clear and achievable project vision shared across the whole team, including project sponsors and senior stakeholders.
